ANSWERS: 1. Youth Express Transport provides pre-arranged transportation service exclusively for children (ages 2 - 17). We provide service to and from school, daycare, extra-curricular activities, social functions, or anywhere your child needs to go.
Return to Top 2. Not exactly. Our service was designed to work with groups of children from one location to multiple locations and vise versa. We will pick up your child and take them to a pre-arranged location as long as you understand you are paying for a seat on a shuttle van in a "window of time" and that your child most likely will not be taken directly to their destination. We will not schedule transportation that we know we cannot accommodate your time schedule.

Return to Top 4. Yes, as long as we can accommodate your request. There will be additional charges for changes to schedules.
Return to Top 5. Yes. This requires the $20 registration fee so we have all your information on file when you call. In addition to Youth Express Transport having your information on file, your child's school must also have Youth Express Transport on there emergency data card. This gives us permission to pick up your child from school and transport. There is no guarantee we can always accommodate your requests, but we will do our best.

Return to Top 7. Payments are due before services start. Remember, this is a prearranged, pre-paid service.
Return to Top 8. Federal Way, Des Moines, Midway, Milton, Kent Westhill, and Auburn Westhill. (More areas will be added as ridership increases.)
Return to Top 9. You may call 253-941-2607 to get a reservation to sign your child up with Youth Express Transport Service.
Return to Top 10. To cancel a reservation, please call 253-941-2607 at least 24 hours in advance.

Return to Top 12. The van has the capacity for 11 passengers and the driver.
Return to Top 13. No. For security reasons, only minors are transported.
Return to Top 14. No. Drivers are not allowed to leave the immediate area (4 feet) of the van when children are on board. A Youth Express Transport driver may assist children in entering and exiting the vehicle but is NOT allowed to escort them away from the Youth Express Transport vehicle.
Return to Top 15. Children 13 years and older may be released to a specific location with a signed parental waiver. Example: Mary Johnson, 15 years old, is picked up from Princeton Jr. High School and released to Mill Creek Park Playfield or Southern Park Mall.
Children under 13 years old are released to an authorized person, not a location. Example: Molly Hudson, 7 years old, is picked up from Mrs. Henry's home and is released to Cherise Brown at Tender Luv'n Daycare.
*It is the parent's responsibility to make sure that the 'release to' person is present at the ride termination location!
Return to Top 16. Scheduled transportation should be made 24 hours in advance, if possible.
Return to Top 17. Yes. You will be provided a copy of the policy and procedures after registering with Youth Express Transport Service.

Return to Top 19. Yes. Youth Express Transport will not sell, give away, or market any personal information of its clients or minor children without written consent.
