POLICIES:
- All rides are prearranged and pre-paid in advance.
- Refunds or credits are not provided for unused trips.
- Inappropriate behavior or language will not be tolerated.
- Children are required to wear seatbelts.
- Youth Express Transport will provide car seats or boosters for children as needed. Please let us know when you register for service.
- Parents are responsible to contact Youth Express Transport service for any cancellations.
- At no time, will a driver leave the vehicle unattended.
- A 24-hour notice is required for any change to pick-up or drop off locations.
- No refunds will be given for an absent or ill child.
- A two week (10 business days) written notice is required if wishing to terminate Youth Express Transport service. (you may email your notice) It can be given to the driver or mailed to the office.
- Youth Express Transport service will NOT operate on snow days based on school closings.
- If for some reason, Youth Express Transport service, fails to pick up your child due to an unplanned or an emergency situation, you will be contacted and then credited.
- Youth Express Transport is not liable for any items left on our vans.
- Youth Express Transport reserves the right to cancel this agreement without notice at any time due to disciplinary problems with a child while riding in a Youth Express Transport vehicle.
- Youth Express Transport is NOT considered childcare services. TRANSPORTATION SERVICE ONLY.
- Youth Express Transport reserves the right to cancel, alter, and/or change the terms of this agreement at any time.
- Youth Express Transport reserves the right to change rates without further notice.
GUIDELINES:
These guidelines should be discussed with your child before your child's first trip.- The general behavior of your child is your responsibility.
- Make sure your child is ready for pick-up before the van arrives. Drivers are not required to leave vehicles, ring doorbells, enter buildings, honk their horns, or make calls to announce their arrival. The driver is NOT to wait for riders out of courtesy for the other riders.
- Make sure a person is at the home to meet the child (ages 2-12). This is not necessary for ages 13-17). If your child is unable to be left safely and securely at the original drop off location, Youth Express Transport will contact the parent for an alternate drop off location. Please note: an additional $30 service fee will be charged to your account. Parents please have a back-up plan for these situations and discuss them with your child.
- Please notify the office of any information that may affect the safe transport of the child. This is extremely important! (i.e., change in legal status of parent or guardian, restraining orders, custody order held by either parent, etc.
- Please instruct your child to get into the Youth Express Transport vehicle.
- Please contact Youth Express Transport (253-941-2607) for cancellations. There is a $10 fee for non-cancellations.
- Any damage to a Youth Express Transport vehicle, caused by your child is the parent/guardians responsibility.
- Drive times will range from 10 to 30 minutes depending on your location. All pick-up and drop off times are estimates and subject to vary as our schedules change.
- Smoking is prohibited.
- Youth Express Transport service does not accept route or schedule changes from the passengers.
